Selfies is actually six sculpture scenes joined to create a single, piece of art.

"Selfies" captures the artist's contemplation on society's preoccupation with self-absorption over awareness of their surroundings. Against the backdrop of the tilting Washington Monument, akin to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the artwork highlights the irony of individuals engrossed in capturing self-portraits rather than acknowledging the significant events unfolding around them. By juxtaposing the monument's precarious tilt with the disregard of passersby lost in self-centered pursuits, the sculpture serves as a poignant commentary on the contemporary tendency towards prioritizing personal image over broader societal concerns.
